I came to Greece on June 24, 2023. just to start a calm and new life with my 3 Norwegian dogs, after many turbulent years. I needed to get away. I landed in Greece, probably unaware of what I was going to start with. There are no stray dogs in Norway. I saw them everywhere and was a little shocked. Where is the owner? The truth hit me hard. These are ownerless. I have had a dog since I was 17 years old. A dog for me is my life. After living in the center of Thessaloniki for 3 months.

I moved to Peraia. Thermakos commune. After about 2 months I had picked up my first dog straight from the street and home. I gave them names and I only picked up more. I found new homes for them around the world. Katniss Everdeen, who was the first one I picked up, is now in West Germany on a large farm. Ezy was a relocation dog I had. She is also with a new owner in Germany. I got Bella and Max from a shelter in Peraia/Termi. Bella now lives in Norway and Max lives in the USA. I picked up Peter outside of a baker in Agia Triada, he now lives in Norway.

I also found a puppy (Prime) when I went for an evening walk in the hill behind Peraia. And not long after, I found 2 more puppies that I named Socrates and Valentino. Unfortunately, they all died due to parvovirus. Socrates was taken in by the organization for help. But I took in Prime and Valentino. They were inside for about 5-7 days. It was an expensive stay. But it was important for me to do everything to see if they could survive.

So it has been a hectic 2 years in Greece. But At most I had 8 dogs at the same time! I am passionate about helping animals. That's how Team Taylor was created. And people buy Caps. bracelets, key rings, T-Shirt to support my work.
